For faculty, this blog contains information about many topics to help instructors design and develop their online courses and online components of their on-grounds courses. For students and staff involved in training in Blackboard, this blog contains areas that will help make your Blackboard experience as successful as possible.
A Training Calendar for Blackboard and other relevant trainings by OES is available in the Training tab. To view the time, location, and session information on the training, click the calendar item. You can also use this feature to copy the event to your calendar. If you find a training event that you wish to attend, you can register on the training page using the provided form.
Also located in this blog are links to the OES Twitter feed (@KCKCCOnlineEd), the KCKCC OnlineEd News a curated web-news (Scoop-it), and the OES YouTube subscriptions, which include informational videos from many contributors like Zoom, EdTech, and Blackboard. The OES Subscription Feed contains subscribed videos from our YouTube channel.
We will continue to add new content and areas to the blog as it becomes necessary or relevant in the OES News link along the right hand side of the page. In this area we will provide you with important notices such as new Blackboard feature, new tools, and important information on potential global issues.
